Accounting Essentials is an introductory
financial accounting course intended for students with limited
accounting background and experience. This on line, self-study,
program is supported by technical manuals and materials. The focus
is on interpretation and use of accounting information critical for
credit and collections thereby providing the core accounting skills
that are essential in any credit role.

Introduction to Business and Credit Laws gives
students a general understanding of Canadian law and the Canadian
legal system. It provides an overview of the laws that govern the
operation of credit and collections departments, including topics
such as contract law and the sale of goods act, the courts and their
jurisdiction, and federal bankruptcy legislation.

Credit Practices: Introduction to Key Concepts – A Guide
for Today’s Credit, Collection and Receivable Roles was
developed to introduce and enhance the skills necessary for credit,
collection and receivable clerks in today’s business environment.
Topics include credit policies, credit procedures, credit
applications, telephone collections, cash applications, and
essential communication skills for credit and collections staff.

Full Program (Save $50) $1079.00
Time Schedule:
Students are required to complete each course on schedule, which
will be no later than 10 weeks after date of registration. The time
frame to complete the entire program is 30 weeks from date of
registration. If the course is not completed within the required
time limit, students can request a 4 weeks extension or opt to
re-enroll.
