Presenters' Biographies:
Christopher Germer, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Arlington, MA. He is a founding member of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy, and a Clinical Instructor in Psychology at the Harvard Medical School. He is a co-editor of the professionally acclaimed book, Mindfulness and Psychotherapy, and is the author of a forthcoming handbook on self-compassion (Guilford Press; Spring, 2009).Tu Anh Ngo, PhD, MPH is a clinical health psychologist at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial VAMC in Bedford, MA, where she is the clinical director of the Primary Care Behavioral Health program and director of the health psychology training program. She also helped start and co-leads the year-long mindfulness seminar in the psychology training program. Her expertise is in the application of mindfulness-based approaches to medical conditions and PTSD.
