Dr. Erica H. Wise

Dr. Wise is the Director of the Psychology Training Clinic and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at UNC Chapel Hill. In addition, she maintains a private practice in Chapel Hill. She has strong roots in the practice community and has been active for a number of years in the education and training of new psychologists.

She is currently co-chair of the NCPA Professional Affairs and Ethics Committee and is a former member and chair of both the APA Ethics Committee and the APA Committee on Professional Practice and Standards. She represents North Carolina on APA Council and is an elected member of the APA Committee on the Structure and Function of Council. In addition, she served for 10 years on the North Carolina Psychology Board and including two years as chair. She is active in presenting CE workshops on ethical and legal issues to psychologists in North Carolina and regularly consults with psychologists throughout the state.
