Presenter's Biography:
Frederick Rotgers, Ph.D.,
Frederick Rotgers, PsyD, ABPP is Program Director for the Clinical Psychology PhD Program at Walden University. He received his doctorate from Rutgers University, and is licensed as a psychologist in New Jersey. He is a Fellow of APA Divisions 12 (Society for Clinical Psychology) and 50 (Addictive Behaviors), and is certified in both Clinical Psychology and Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. Widely published, he is U.S. Editor-in-Chief of the journal Addiction Research and Theory. He is currently President of the APA Division on Addictions (Division 50). He has lectured internationally on brief interventions with substance users, moderation approaches to reducing substance use, and harm reduction.
