Robert Weigl, Ph.D.,
A Clinical and Community Psychologist originally out of the University of Michigan, Dr. Robert Weigl has developed a parallel career in Cross-Cultural Psychology over the last twenty-five years. He has taught in this field at four universities, most recently for the University of Virginia. He has served with World Health in Latin America, has been very involved in programs to aid Central American and Vietnamese refugees in the U.S., promotes undergraduate study abroad, and has visited 56 countries outside the U.S. A psychotherapist since 1968, he also has been trained as an intercultural trainer. He has served in several mental health administrative posts, and is a principal of a private mental health clinic in Alexandria, VA. Dr. Weigl graduated summa cum laude from Princeton.
